A Colorado tutor who was allegedly caught kissing a 14-year-old male student was sentenced to prison for the sexual relationship, officials said.
Nathalie Gulyas, 36, was ordered Thursday in Boulder to serve at least 10 years in the sexual assault case, according to The Daily Times-Call.
The newspaper reported that sex offenders in Colorado are often given indeterminate sentences before incarceration.
The tutor was found guilty in October on three charges including sexual exploitation of a child.
Prosecutors alleged Gulyas enticed the 14-year-old victim into a relationship and the two would refer to each other as “fiancée.”
She was employed as the student’s tutor when his mother busted the duo kissing in the family’s kitchen in February 2017, according to the prosecution.
