UFC star Holly Holm files for divorce

According to the report, Holm says the couple separated in March 2018 and “no longer live as husband and wife.” The two were married in Cancun in 2012 and have no children together. They were college sweethearts at the University of New Mexico.

The former three-weight boxing wold champion, also asked that her surname be changed from Holm-Kilpatrick back to her maiden name, Holm, according to the report. In the documents, Holm – who has reportedly made more than $1.6 million in her MMA career  – also claimed that both she and her husband are self-sufficient financially, so spousal support is not something that needs to be considered.

Her next fight is scheduled for UFC 235 against Aspen Ladd on March 2 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
