Jets’ 2019 NFL Draft tracker: Round-by-round picks and analysis

The New York Jets got their franchise quarterback last year, so the 2019 NFL draft will have a different focus.

With their new jerseys, new coach and free-agent prizes, GM Mike Maccagnan would love to address his team’s needs at edge rusher, as well as holes at cornerback, offensive line and receiving depth. But there could also be some fireworks — the team has been looking for a partner to swap the No. 3 overall pick and the draft floor in Nashville might just be the place to find one and add to their six total picks.

Maccagnan will be looking to get a second-rounder this year after dealing the Jets’ to Indianapolis last year in order to move up to pick Sam Darnold.

Here is the Jets’ NFL draft tracker, which will be updated Thursday night through Saturday:

ROUND 1, No. 3 overall pick

ROUND 3, No. 68 overall pick

ROUND 3, No. 93 overall pick (from New Orleans Saints)

ROUND 4, No. 105 overall pick

ROUND 6, No. 196 overall pick (from Chicago Bears through Oakland Raiders)

ROUND 7, No. 217 overall pick
