Disneyland holds auditions for Stormtroopers to work on ‘Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge’

Disneyland is looking for a few good stormtroopers to help defend the Dark Side in the California park’s new “Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.”

Auditions were held Friday for men and women who want to don the white armor and join the villainous First Order of the Galactic Empire.

But would-be warriors hoping to embark on an adventure far, far away in Anaheim had to meet strict requirements.

The performers must be at least 18 years old, between 5-foot-10 to 6 feet tall, with a slender athletic build and be able to work in full-body armor at “high energy levels,” according to the audition posting.

They also must be available Friday nights, weekends, holidays and all summer during peak operating seasons at the park.

“Performers appear before thousands of guests each day in meet-and-greets while posing for pictures and helping to create magical moments with guests of all ages at the Disneyland Resort,” the posting says.

“The Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge” attraction is set to open on May 31.
