I’m A Celeb’s Kate Garraway is supported by her GMB colleagues

She is preparing for the launch of I’m A Celeb on Sunday.

And while Kate Garraway is readying herself Down Under, she is lucky enough to have mounds of support on home soil as her Good Morning Britain colleagues gave a subtle nod to the star.

On Thursday’s show, a flash at the cameras saw the side of the equipment adorned with the slogan ‘Vote Kate’ in a bid to shoot her to victory.

Kate has the glowing support of her co-stars who are keen to get GMB viewers voting once the later segments of the show require her being saved.

Kate is one of ten celebrities entering the jungle next week, she joins Caitlyn Jenner, Ian Wright, Nadine Coyle, Jacqueline Jossa, James Haskell, Myles Stephenson, Adele Roberts, Roman Kemp and Andrew Maxwell.

Earlier this week, it was revealed that she has already managed to stick to a strict diet and has shed two stone ahead of her stint Down Under.

Kate embarked on a lifestyle overhaul after giving birth to her youngest child William, 10, and has since swapped sweet treats for healthy avocados, as well as ditching caffeine.

Presenter Kate – who wakes up at 3am for her ITV job – admitted she’d fuel her energy by eating ‘loads of chocolate’.

The media personality said in an interview with Fit and Well last year: ‘I tried different popular diets and realised, because of the crazy shifts I do, I regulated my energy with sugar bursts.

‘I didn’t think I ate a lot of sugar but by 8am I’ve always had loads of chocolate. Now I eat avocados obsessively because I found one of the diets was high in good fat, medium protein and zero sugar – which is a bit extreme for me.’

As they prepare to embark on their gruelling stint in the Australian Jungle, the participating celebrities each shared their fears and phobias, with snakes and creepy-crawlies almost unanimously topping the list.

When asked about her biggest fears, TV star Kate said: ‘Spiders, heights, being in a box covered with snakes – I am terrified of absolutely everything.’
