Jessica Simpson has survived nursing her family back to health following a nasty 10 day illness.
The singer, 39, reflected on the toll the cold had on her children as she posted a snap of herself curled up on the couch with daughter Maxwell, seven, on Thursday.
‘It was a challenging 10 days for the family,’ Jessica captioned the Instagram post. ‘Lots of puke, scary high fevers, coughing, and a concussion to top it all off. Maxi and Ace are resilient troopers. Now we need some sleep. Eric and I are so relieved they are happy and healthy now.’

Jessica indeed looked wiped out as she snuggled on the couch beside her daughter.
The Sweet Kisses singer wore a leopard print top as she nestled into a blanket with her eyes shut.
Maxwell looked weary and tired as she snuggled against her mother.
In addition to Maxwell, Jessica and her husband Eric have six-year-old son Ace Knute Johnson and the newest addition to their family, daughter Birdie Mae.

Jessica gave birth to daughter Birdie seven months ago and has already dropped 100 pounds after tipping the scales at 240.
‘6 months. 100 pounds down (Yes I tipped the scales at 240),’ she revealed on Instagram.
In order to transform her diet and workout routine, Jessica recruited celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak to help her do just that.

She consumed a diet high in protein and fiber, and walked 12,000 steps per day.
Though she had a baby at home, he revealed she still got seven hours of sleep each night.
Jessica has been married to Eric Johnson since 2014, years after divorcing her first husband Nick Lachey.
